for decades swords have been an obsolete weapon, yet they still captivate the imagination of many, every good fairytale always has a good magical sword, I’ve made a few, one as my thesis for my artisanship.
My thesis for the artisanship, the Gramgaldur. based on the legendary Gram, the sword of sigurd fafnesbane of the völsunga saga,
the blade is handforged damascus steel with 124 layers.
length, 144 cm. handle and crossguard made from three pieces of moose antler and bronze
